MoonClan cats live on the icy moors of the tundra. It's snowy most of the time, but in the summer it bursts in grass, flowers, and sunshine. Rabbits are their usual prey, and anything else they can find. A few mountains, and many small forests spread out. Their camp is located in a clearing in one of the forests, with a wolf den to shelter many of them.

They are swifter than WindClan cats. They are thin, due to lack of prey. Their paws allow them to walk on the snow without falling through. They are good fighters, but their fighting moves resemble a little bit of the wolves. Their hunting skills also resemble the wolves. They work together to bring down larger prey like racoons and eagles. Their teeth and claws are denser and thicker then the average cat. They are fiercly loyal, and will protect their Clan with tooth and claw. Their first loyalty is to their Clan and leader. Wolves, coyotes, and mountain lions are their enemies, but most of the time they steer clear of them. They think kits are a blessing and highly guard them with their lives. Every blue moon they sit vigil and sit in the moonlight.

The history of MoonClan is said that the snow leopards, their ancestors, have followed the ways of a different animal. The wolves of the tundra and the snow leopards were bitter rivals. They would fight constantly, and both sides would shed blood. The snow leopards, to defeat the wolves, came up with the Clans, and the warrior code. Having these they fought back the wolves. The battles turned in favor with the snow leopards. The wolves, seeing this, copied the snow leopards. So ferocious were the 2 Clans, that it is said that both of their blood run in the warrior cats today. The warrior cats have lived on the tundra for generations, but things change, and old pasts catch up to the future.
